About Me!

I am a first year PhD student at Tulane University in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department, advised by Dr. Thomas DeCarlo. Broadly, I study coral reef microclimates and coral bleaching.

I completed my undergraduate degree at UC Santa Barbara majoring in Earth Science with an emphasis in Climate and Environment. I became highly involved in research early at UC Santa Barbara as a Field-based Undergraduate Engagement through Research, Teaching, and Education (FUERTE) fellow. Beyond my academics, I served as the president of VocalMotion, UCSB Women’s A Cappella group, for two years and played on the UCSB Women’s Rugby team for four years.
